About Haley

Haley Thoms is an Athens, Georgia–based artist creating colorful, expressive acrylic paintings that blend nostalgia, femininity, and a little bit of whimsy.

Her work is loose and intentionally imperfect, with simplified forms, unexpected color combinations, and a primitive quality that favors feeling over precision. Inspired by everyday moments, familiar places, and figures that feel both nostalgic and modern, Haley creates pieces meant to bring personality and a sense of story into a space.

What began as a creative outlet has grown into Haley Thoms Studio, a collection of original works ranging from small studies and limited series to larger statement pieces. Each painting is created by hand in her home studio in the Athens area.

When she isn't painting, Haley is a CPA and accounting lecturer at the University of Georgia and, most importantly, a wife and mom of three.
